South West Meet - Bristol, Bath and Beyond ...

Post by Bender Unit »

Just wondered if anyone would be interested in another South West Meet?

The options are:

Chequers - nice pub in Bristol by a river for laid back drinks, chats, foodage etc going on. God petrol head pub and usual gathering point for various metal. Brian UK speaks highly of it so its deffo worth a punt

Or

Go Karting at Winterbourne - (basically Bradley Stoke). This place does 90 mins non stop endurance races for £30 odd notes. Should be wild. There is also a pub just down the road for afters. Maybe if I ask nicley they may allow us to take paint ball guns on track as well .. lol :D

If anyone has other suggestions?

Cheers

On checking the map I reckon I'd be up for some Karting as long as it's after 10th October, when I back from Oz!

Just called the karting place and they advise its £32 per person and a maximum of 7 - judging by the last turn out that will probably be about right.

Or we can do a GP and get a bigger group.

Personally I love the Endurance idea. Thing is though after 10 laps your arms will want to fall off :D

What dates can people do, it will most likley be a saturday as I am busy worshipping the lord on Sunday ... lol O:) NOT!

Im up for the Karting - but still figure we could meet up at checkers say 1st Sunday afternoon of each month :)

The are an amazing number of MR2s in this area - sure a few more would come along once people know about it...

Well, completely managed to miss this post.

Count me in as long it's on one of the weekends I'm back from Holland

The only problem for me is that Octobers pretty full at the mo because of a mates wedding. The only weekend I could make is Saturday 8th October.

Like the sound of the karting but can't make Saturdays due to work. Could make Sundays once a month though and it'd be good to meet a few peeps off here :D

Grrrrrrrr  but i would love to come if circumstances permit at the time? Karting idea sounds top notch would be cool to see some other MR's dont see many round here these parts only combine harvasters and the lowly tractor i get stuck behind and covered in hay!
