looks good man, your second design is cool, there is a company who do them already, i was gonna buy one from them but if you're doing these in the next few months i'll hang off and buy one from you
Re: [Mk2] [Generic] custom gauge pods ive made
cheers bud ill keep you posted
Re: [Mk2] [Generic] custom gauge pods ive made
I'd be very interested in one if you started making them.
Re: [Mk2] [Generic] custom gauge pods ive made
good stuff mate
my mate who works in fibreglass moldings is going to try a mold of 1 once i get it to him as with having thin small pieces to it may be a challenge and may have to just mold the top part to bond on to the original panel
but either way will have something put together in the next 3-4 weeks

I'd be interest in the second design too! I had contemplated doing this with some of the useless space on the dash but I neither the time, skill or patience to do it
Looks really good, hopefully the moulds can be done

Can you show a driver's position pic with the steering cowl in place?
Interested to see how much of the instrument cluster can still be seen with it fitted.

all the important part is visible but tbh the center 1 is better and in 2 minds weather to concentrate on just those

That looks awesome, far better than one in the center, instrument cluster is way more visible than i thought, you could even make 45mm ones which would show more of the cluster if required, absolutely spot on effort man

thanks mate
Re: [Mk2] [Generic] custom gauge pods ive made
How high is the steering wheel in the pod pic as I have to have it as high as it will go will that restrict the view of the cluster ?
