CFM Engineering

Anyone got any experience with Cfm Engineering in Reading (formerly StonerRacing.I think)?

I'm considering.having a cage fitted there, but have seen a couple of worrying reviews on Google.

just have this niggling thought that if I rip out the wiring, then the car will never get out of the garage again.

Still in the garage...

why risk it when there's plenty of companies out there that do top notch work?

Fair point. I wanted to save a few quid.... I should probably have started a thread asking.for race car prep recommendations.

I've chatted with Rogue, but don't like the side protection of their cage.

I like the look of the Custom cages cage. Trouble is, I don't really have 2 grand to have one fitted :(

Formerly Clifford Cox Engineering but the owner went bust and someone else took over.
They had a bad rep for being so slow but that was because Beric the old owner would always stop work on longer term projects to sort out guys with "emergencies " these were all of his racer buddies. They have moved on a lot since then. Give them a call and see what they say Rob who worked for Beric was a good hand but had one arm tied behind his back.

If you are willing to travel that far JD Modified are only a little further away. He(James) used to be on here as 3s service centre.
Or Eurospec 2000 in Guildford are decent lads, surely there must be someone in the Midlands? I am sure there's a specialist in Kidderminster but I don't know if they are any good.

Lol just read the post above ignore what I said about finding someone local Malvern is close enough.
