Edit: you'd also have to sort out a handbrake as the std rear calipers are your handbrake. If it was a track only car you could get away with no handbrake but for mot it needs it.

They dont appear to make a sw20 kit.

I'm running the wms kit on the front with carbotech xp8 all round, works great on track. The wms kit keeps the brake balance very close to factory spec too iirc.


I have never heard of wms brake kits where can you get them from

They are a trader on here, do a forum search for WMS and you'll find loads of threads on the subject. They would be the brakes I'd go for as they've been specifically designed for the MR2.

The guys name is Keri and he is very helpful and extremely knowledgeable.

I'm pretty sure he was working on a full front and rear kit with working handbrake. Also discs with alloy bells, but I havent seen him about for a while.

K-Sport also do a nice kit and are highly rated.

We distribute both K-Sport and D2, give me a shout if anyone needs a price

D2 and ksport are the same... but the d2 8pot i have are too big for the master cylinder and the d2 disc are crap they squeek even when not braking and are not straight had to change mine to dba rota... and no it wasnt the pads i change them to ds2500, carbotech ax6, pagid the only time it stop was when i changed them to dba disc on both my car gto and mr2 same issues with d2
