I need help finding good brakes for a track car.
we are now running with the original and it works but they are overheated as pads wear quickly.

Re: Need help with a brake kit.
I've run the wms kit on a few trackdays and its fantastic, not a single bit of fade combined with carbotech xp8 pads.
Also fits under my 16s nicely!

All you need are a set of Porterfield pads, work very well with stock brakes

Thanks for the replies.
Ogrinal brakes with better pads we have now and they get overheated after a few hours of driving. (We have brake-cooling air intakes in the front)
we run for 6 hours / race + 45min qualifying / training.
wilwood we've tried but I thought the quality huh too bad. the car became unstable under braking.

What pads do you have that get overheated?

wms arent the same as willwood, their kit has been designed to keep the brake ballance as close to stock as possible

Ta for the feedback.
Krutis, is this a track only car (never used on the road)?
We have a range of options that could help in any case, what exact wheels have you got?

What pads do you have?
I boiled my fresh Motal RBF660 fluid but my XP8 carbotech pads where still performing perfectly.
If you know of a fluid with a higher fresh dry boiling point than 325℃ let me know

it is a race car that never runs on the street.
We usually use 16 "wheels but run with 15" on some tracks.
But if we change to better brakes, we will probably only run on 16 "
