1999 Toyota MR2 Rev 5 T-Bar Cosmos Blue

Post by Paul F »

I have for sale my MR2, it’s a UK Tbar in cosmos blue. 97,829 miles, MOT until August, No tax. I am selling it because my job has changed and I needed something a bit more economical. I bought this car completely standard with a partial service history in 2011, all repairs and servicing by the previous owner has been carried out by Toyota using genuine parts.

Since I have had the car I have done the following:
Mongoose Stainless Steel Exhaust
17” Alessio Alloys with Falken FK-452 on the front and Falken FK-453 on the rear with loads of tread left
New Alloy Radiator, thermostat and blue silicon water hoses
Crystal headlights
Smoked front and side indicators
Reconditioned Front brake callipers with new Disks and Pads
New Rear brake disks and pads
New Battery and Reconditioned Alternator
Rocker cover gaskets replaced
Rocker cover, Inlet Manifold, Throttle body, heat shields and Cross brace painted blue/sliver
Replaced most hoses with new blue silicon hoses
Rear half of the drivers sill was replaced prior to the MOT last year
Pioneer AVH-4400BT 7” touch screen headunit
Vibe Blackair Stereo 4 1000w 4 Chanel Amplifier
Vibe Blackair 6 6.5” Component speakers
Hertz ES250.3 Energy Line 10” Subwoofer in custom made box

The interior is all standard (apart from the stereo). As this is a late model the gear knob, steering wheel and dials where all trimmed in red. It has full leather seats that are in great condition and have been regularly cleaned with leather conditioner. There is slight wear to the drivers bolster but when it’s cleaned it’s not noticeable.

All the original parts will be included in the sale and can be fitted before you buy. Also I will include the original 15” alloys but one alloy requires a refurb and the rear ones need new tyres.

The main problem with the car is the paint work, it has lots of swirl marks and the usual paint chips you would expect to find on this age of car.

If you want have a look at it or have any other questions just pm me, I am looking for about £1600 but I am open to offers.
