How does it locks on the bootlid on a Rev3+ ?

What do you mean by "this will fit Rev3+ but the ariel hole will not line up correctly." on eBay item page ?

I'd like to order one, but don't want to rework on it to mount it on the lid

The rev1/2 and rev3+ have different positions for the ariel holes.

This spoiler is lined up to fit the Rev1/2 model but all the rest will be slightly out. You can either drill the hole bigger so it fits or fill it in and move your ariel to another location
