Back on the road now... advice required please on stiff clutch

Finally I will be getting my car on the road for 6 months. It has been sitting outside in the rain for a few months and some of the brakes seem to be sticking on a bit so hopefully they'll free up or else they might need a strip down. I have noticed that the clutch has become quite stiff. Does anyone know what might be causing this? Also, the gear stick is a bit stiff across the gate too. Not sure if it's related.

At a guess the input shaft that the release bearing slides on has got a bit rusty - hopefully it will free up with some use!

Could be the slave cylinder piston seal has got sticky from being sat. Hopefully the bore hasn't gone rusty from a dodgy cylinder boot.

Gear shift movement won't be related, likely IMO to be the levers on the box.

Maybe the bush or part 33527B on the diagram rusting up:

Thanks for the comments. I'm taxing the car tomorrow so I'll be able to see if it sorts itself out or not. At least I have something to go on now. Just goes to show that it's always best to drive older cars regularly to prevent things seizing up.
