Im asking £4500 ONO

The car is in Falkirk, Central Scotland

I also have the original prefacelift wheels with decent tyres and a bootlid with a spoiler on it which was not to my taste so I had the boot lid sprayed at the same time as the TRD front lip, rear spats and skirts. I also had the hardtop sprayed as it was previously red.

I bought the car in January 2013 from a seller in Glasgow who had bought it a few years previously from Paul at Woodsport but hardly used the car. The car was converted to a 3.0 Litre V6 (1MZ-FE alloy engine) in 2009 by Paul at Woodsport for the previous MR2ROC member WillsSayers. The v5 still shows it as a 1.8 but this can be rectified easily, it's still insured as a 3.0 litre. When I bought the car it had done around 91.5K, its now on 95K and is a 2nd car for me. I started collecting the modifications above which were fitted in April 2013 and the car was given a full service including new 10w40 oil, Toyota plugs, oil filter, new hand brake cables, new brake caliper, front wheel bearing and new brake disc shields, new brake fluid amongst other things.

The car has also had a new Halfords battery this week which comes with a 4 year warranty. The car has 4 good tyres with less than 5K on them. The wheels have no kerbing on them at all.

As previously mentioned the car belonged to WillsSayers on here, he owned it for a few years before getting the V6 conversion carried out in summer of 2009. Unfortunately he crashed the car around theend of 2009/start of 2010 on a country lane and crashed through some hedges damaging every panel of the car. Due to the extent of the panel damage the car was declared a write off Cat C. The car ended up back at Woodsport and Paul assessed the car. The damage was repairable as it was cosmetic only to the panels, all of which bolt off so Paul replaced each damaged panel and the car had a full respray at this time.

I have a link to pictures of this here >>>>>> http://www.twobrutal.co.uk/forum/showth ... 6-roadster

The paint work of the car is very good and I would describe the car as very good condition. The interior is tidy and the wheels are unkerbed. I am not desperate to sell the car as I know the V6 conversions seldom come up and the price is circa £4500-£5500 for the engine conversion alone!

Im asking £4500 ONO with the Hard top. The car is in Falkirk, Central Scotland but I can pick viewers up from the train station/ Airport.

Ive probably missed something so please feel free to PM me,

Thanks

*****EDIT - 24/07/2014*****

The car had a slight hesitation in higher revs recently so I took it to a local performance specialist, various things were checked and after a conversation the garage had with Paul Woods the issue was traced to contact between wires at the ecu which was rectified along with new fuel injector seals and the MOT done with NO ADVISORIES. The car runs sweet as a nut now and pulls like a train in every gear. The bill for this was £370.

I obviously would prefer to sell the car complete with the wheels and hardtop but a local owner has expressed an interest in the hardtop and fitting kit so I am willing to reduce the price slightly if the wheels/hardtop are not required.

looks lovely =P~

How does she drive ? power ? Clutch ? Timing belt ? Tax costs ?

I need to do some homework regarding the mark 3, desperate for a decent car for the summer, especially as my rev 3 turbo is overheating :(

Do you have any videos of this car you can share ?

thanks :thumleft:

Hi I don't have any videos but I'm off this weekend so can try and get some then, it's a fantastic car which i would never consider selling had I not bought the mk1 v6

Thanks for all the nice comments :)

This is one of the best looking mk3's I've seen. Sadly you're a veeery long way away, it's a little out of my price range and I think my girlfriend would leave me if I came home in a bright yellow convertible

Thread cleaned up at request of Owner :thumleft:

Please can you keep questions relevant to sale and any V6 vs Turbo to the general forum or better still use the search function, it's been debated over and over

That is stunning. Friend of mine looking at this, and hope he does go for it/get in touch/etc.

I'll be through in Falkirk at Stainless Creations on the 26th, getting an exhaust fitted to the Vette. Don't suppose you're anywhere near Burnbank Industrial Estate? I'm a newbie to MK3s but would love to see what the car is like!

Got a few videos of driveby's and more pics, will try and add tomorrow as my iphone won't upload them. Probably going to advertise the hardtop separately too.

Also considering selling my black mk1a v6. Lots of nice mods on it in lovely condition. Will update properly tomorrow thanks
