So it started with painting my wheels in possibly the brightest yellow I could find, figured it'd make the car stand out a little
Then decided to buy a spare bonnet and sprayed that in matte black along with a much bigger wing
Decided the bonnet needed something so after a run around eBay I found a huge DC Shoes sticker
Along with a not so big Shining Monkey sticker I got with some of their matte finish polish.
This is where it got a little out of hand. I wanted to increase the yellow but really didn't want to paint the bodywork because a) it's a daily drive and therefore it couldn't be off the road for a long time in a bodyshop and b) I couldn't guarantee the finish if I did it myself. Finally found somewhere in the UK that had the perfect colour match to the wheels.
Next up was a Sunday spent slapping yellow vinyl all over the car
Having spent a day off in work putting the yellow on I then spent the Monday breaking up the yellow with some black
Last bit on the outside was to paint the Toyota badge black

Next up was the interior lights and speedo cluster. Not quite as bright as the outside. I bought an led set for the interior lights
They're a lot brighter!!!
And taken from outside the car
Then today I took the speedo cluster out and replaced the 501 bulbs with red leds, worked out ok I reckon
While the clocks were out I decided to spray the fascia having seen a brushed alloy fascia I liked the look of, this was the outcome

To give you an idea of just how bright the yellow really is I lay a new hiviz jacket on the car when I put the vinyl on

That's great buddy and if you ever get bored you can change the wheels and peel off the vinyl. Brilliant!!!

I even still got the original bonnet in red in the shed along with the stock rims just in case I change my mind
