Even if chassis sorted for track, still leaves you to push the envelope with downforce.

Nathan's car was a stripped out, race car, whereas Simon's is fully trimmed with an MOT.

If he were to enter the event, the buyer would be almost certain to take Simon's Brighton Speed Trials cup next year.

The closest car to him in the last 3 years was 0.8 second behind him, which it's fair to say, is a big gap for that event.

It would be great to see it at Brighton next year again.

True. But from BST point of view, it wouldn't qualify for "road modified" class.

thats getting away from the point that its too good to break

either way they are/were both great cars it seems, and the buyer could do with it what he/she pleases

Nath's was also damaged in an accident. Would be sad to see this car broken though, there's not many high HP MR2's in the country as it is.

But yeah the new owner is free to do what they wish with it once they've payed the price i guess!

Surely you should be a trader on here to be buying and breaking MR2's though?

The buyer will naturally have to compete at Brighton next year, and keep the class record within IMOC. 8)

Simon would love to hand over his enormous cup to a member here!

How would 550 HP 'be' to handle on the track? I find 400HP comfoartable, and the GT3076 progressive enough. I'm tempted by this, but don't want to land up with a drag car that I'd want as a track car...

just have this niggling thought that if I rip out the wiring, then the car will never get out of the garage again.

I'm amazed this hasn't sold, £7500 is a bargain. If I hadn't invested so much money into my 2GRFE swap, I'd be all over this.

Has it had any suspension mods? Polybushes? Coilovers?
