Not cheap at $480 shipped from Thailand, then you have customs etc

But one of the rarest and coolest mk1 items ever

I found a set of these in the same new condition last year, i think someone must have discovered old stock of these as that's about the 5th "new original" set that have been for sale in the last year.

They are awesome though, some fitted to mine...

Yes very cool indeed... Paul do you have a video of these working? How bright are they?

I did have a new set of the original Toyota ones but sold them.

Video below, there are a few ways to operate these, but if wired normally this is how they work....

Foglights on, nothing happens.
Headlights on and foglights on they power up and self illuminate once up.
Headlights off the fogs stay up and lit.
Switch fogs off the covers stay up but lights go out.
Switch headlights on with the fogs in the off position and they will power down.

So any combination of lights on/fogs on/off/covers up down can be used.

are you able to have the fogs on with the cover down. Just wondering if the letters will light up and thinking that will look cool too.

I forgot to say that with the covers down and sidelights on the word "koito" is lit up by a separate backlight

mmmmmmm i think they would look good on a mk2, always wanted to change the fogs on mine to something different, hell ive got puma headlights... as you say Paul if its easy its boring ha ha

Thanks the gap looks smaller on the mk1a when I compare it to cars with the BC front lip so wasn't sure, really like these
