As the 1.5 still has quite a bit of little jobs to do, and fancy doing the arches and suspension before it goes back on the road i went hunting for a weekend hack to stop me losing temper with the 1.5 and trying to rush it and doing something wrong
also the mondeo is a great to and from work but me and DM love our own little weekend hack

so bit of browsing not decided if i actually wanted anything.

i was offered this car from olly (was in the for sale section)

a chat with him and showed to Daisy (who loved it straight away) and the deal was done

Olly kindly drove it half way down to sidcup today money and keys exchanged and off home me and daisy go..

Its a lovely standard car, i have even grow fond of the retro blue velour..
I don't like the black wheels, the car is pretty clean through out, so now really going to do anything but drive around in it, spray the wheels up silver again.
i am even going to keep the standard steering wheel
my thinking is it will be really nice to have a completely bogo standard mk1 and my nutty 1.5 next to it

sorry about the trees around it only space on the drive at the mo where we are cutting down the conifers.








won't be much happening to it with lemans coming up and all my time going on the 1.5 and cutting of trees.

done a bit of tidying to this last couple days as getting quite attached to it, hoping this will be at JAE driven by kel's

on the NA fitted front clear indicators/sides
clear side indicators,
fitted new exhaust tips
gave it a full polish,
painted the calipers,
fitted the wheels, going in for Geo and new rear rubber this weekend
got new number plates on their way






pic's to follow of the clears fitted and claipers with teh new plates hopefully tomorrow
