Bit of an update. Rear end back together. Passenger door fitted.

Front bumper, bonnet, headlight covers and rear spoiler remaining then flat and polish the whole car.

Also decided on wheel colour. Going to be a similar colour to the bodywork but darker with a pearl.

Hi Rory

Here is the old girl finished it is a strange colour as in some lights it looks almost deep blue but up close it is a metalic grey.

Excuse the crazy doors, was a moment of madness and months of flipping adjusting!!

Big fan of the dark grey colour scheme...

I had my Esprit and Elise painted dark grey.... I must resist with the 2 though lol

Thought I would have a go at a video montage. My first ever attempt. I'll spend some time when the project is finished and come up with something better -

Wheels now painted and mostly back together. Interior now back together and valeted. Only the bonnet and headlight covers to paint now then fit along with fitting back bits of trim here and there. Really looking fwd to getting this back! The tyres really need a clean and then some tyre gel applying as they look really dirty compared to the newly painted wheels.

Yeah - the bodyshop has done the wheels free of charge due to the fact that the project has overrun by months. The wheels are a really dark dark slate grey with a slight hint of blue in them. They look almost black. They are a lot darker than the car bodywork which is also a dark slate grey. Once the tyres are cleaned and tyre gel applied then it will look a lot better.

Started thinking about insuring this car this week. Hopefully Sky insurance can do me a good deal. Defiantly want an agreed value deal on this one!

Excellet choice for the wheel colour Rory compliments the body colour perfectly.
