Distributor Cap & Rotor Arm

Post by Nic »

Rev3 MR2 Turbo, I've been quoted the following prices for a new OEM distributor cap and rotor arm. The price for the distributor cap seems expensive, is there a cheaper alternative - of equal quality - or would you stick with OEM parts?

19102-74040 ROTOR SUB-ASSY, DISTRIBUTOR - £15.15 + VAT
19101-88364 CAP SUB-ASSY, DISTRIBUTOR - £60.15 + VAT

Years ago, IIRC Paul Port was doing copper contact distributer caps.

Not sure if anyone does these now... :-k

Worked well in my old rev5  :thumleft:

Maybe worth PM'ing Paul Port to see if he still does or knows anyone..Just another suggestion :eye:

You simply have to decide whether you want to fit genuine Toyota parts, or cheap Chinese.

Each to their own and all that...

Genuine Toyota it is then.

Peter you mentioned the other day that Denso O2 sensors are available for around £40, are you able to supply these or would you know the Denso part number (for a 95 Rev3 3SGTE)?
