[Mk2] [Turbo] rev3 turbo stock boost

Post by pcwinks »

Just fitted a mechanical boost gauge to my 95 rev 3.
It is boosting 13 / 14 psi does this seem right?

Car fitted with hks dump valve, apexi induction kit, blue flame exhaust.
Thinking of fitting an mbc what psi should i run safely and would I gain much? Everything else standard :?:

Sound about right bud :thumleft:

Boost wise I run mine at 1.15 bar (16-17psi) though I'd say that we're your limit without checking things out properly on a dyno :D

Nah, not a right lot of point fitting a boost controller and switching it off.

Just because it's turned on, it doesn't mean you have to use the boost in the wet!
