Passenger - 'WOW those are big speedbumps'

Me - 'No, just painted lines on the road'

You know you drive an MR2 when...

You apologies in advance to your passenger, your seat might be a bit damp, and btw there's a bit of a leak...

'Oh yea, and your seatbelt is meant to be like that.'

'Yes it is difficult to get in and out'

'apologies, i always drive like a granny in the rain'

Pedestrians shake head as you go past, thinking your doing 55 in a 30...because your car noiser at 25 than most at 70mph.

you ask your friends to drive you everywhere because well..its safer and guaranteed they will get more MPG...and short journeys are much better for their cars than yours..

Some times at a traffic light GP you dont even hit boost and just let them drive off ahead because you already know deep down that you would have won that race.

Old people turn around when you're coming down the road, 'dont worry, its just my exhaust, not that Hurricane or Spitfire they expected to see'

You feel like you have to over/undertake* quickly especially with trucks as you're scared your so low they might not see you.

Your local Toyota parts department knows who you are just from the sound of your voice and will order parts in without payment up front due to past 'transactions'

*sliproads, etc

Love this thread!

I know I own an MR2 because I got my first one 2 weeks ago and therefore have to keep looking out of the window every 5 minutes to make sure it's not just a dream!

Also because printing out this forum would be quicker than trying to make a list of the "little" jobs that need doing :|
