Afternoon all, thought it was about time to introduce me and my joint owned Rev2 Track car.
My name is Jack, I'm a 19 year old that just loves going fast.
This is my daily driver :

Some of the pictures above are from its outing on Monday at Brandshatch where it held its own agaisnt much more exotic machinery (see videos below). However every trackday brings another list of improvement's to be made.
The upgrades before Brands (coming from Rockingham) we needed a nicer feeling steering wheel, better brakes and more front end grip.

Brakes were adressed with yellow stuff pads and the front end grip was taken a stab at with a pair of 205 section T1R's on the front. The steering wheel was sourced from a Subaru made friend that had it lieing around.

Coming away from Brands this time we now have compiled a new list...
-Bigger rear ARB (probably a Whiteline adjsutable unit)
-Suspension refresh (front end suspension all off and poly bushed/ recondtioned/replaced where appt)
-Proper Geo set up

Here are some videos :

Looks like some good progress. Just two questions; How on earth do you afford the insurance on the E46 at your age, i struggled getting insurance on a fiesta! Secondly, what cage is that? Bolt in? T-Bar? Looking for one myself.

If you're planned on having it as a complete track car, i'd recommend getting a good set of coilovers and as you've said all new bushes and a good geometry setup will help things massively :thumleft:

Thanks for the positive comments guys.

Regards to insurance and car I've always been fortunate through an Admiral multi car policy. I had an 8L S3 and a 300+bhp stripped and caged Volvo 850 T5 when I was 18.

Coilovers are on the list and will eventually be along at Somepoint, we are steadily upgrading it trackday by trackday so we can see the tre benefits of each upgrade and the effects it has on the car.
My logic is you can throw 4k of parts at a car and it be amazing but you won't know what part actually affects what you're feeling should you need to adjust it yourself (if you're not a chassis dynamics guru).
It has come along way in the year and a half we have owned it that's for sure.
