sounds like either a mammoth boost leak or AFM not plugged in (rev1/2)

hmmmm, could be a number of things but i'd start with checking for boost leaks, i had the same problem on a rev2 while driving, turned a corner then car cut out, started no problem and idled, went to drive off and it cut out, the plug for the AFM had popped out, :(

fuel pressure, have you checked it?? might be enough for the car to idle, but not enough to drive.

with a fuel pressure gauge,, it'll plum into the fuel line, you'll need to find out what tha actual pressure should be, then obviously see what pressure you have, if it's low, you'll need to replace the pump :thumleft:

with the turbo issue, you can hear the car spool but no increase in power, just a loud not nice sounding boost at low revs?

are the actuator lines connected properly?? what did the first problem turn out to be?? do you have a boost gauge (not the standard one) connected?

bit silly but it was only running on 3 cylinders, but thanks for all your suggestions.

i have an omoni boost gauge, idling it reads -50 iirc not sure but i think it shows it boosts but no increase in power, will check tomorow, i have a cheap boost gauge which tomorow will be removed and standard lines reconected.

all a bit odd mate, sounds like something not been put back together properly, vac lines etc... it's easy to do with a big job like the cylinder head. is the car showing boost when you drive it??

defo no boost pipes off lol, will check tomorow if he car is reading boost, i think it is could it be the £13 boost controller from ebay?

which is why im puting standard boost back on.

am jacking the car up and fitting hose clips to the ones that need it.
