[Mk2] [Generic] Rear Control Arm to Hub Bush

Post by uglee »

As above I thought it was my driveshafts that were knocking but after waggling this about it has way too much play in it and producing the noise I've been looking for.

This one:

Looking around it doesn't seem like a bush that's replaceable from an aftermarket kit. So am I looking at trying to get another hub with decent bush in place?

Cheers!

It's not a bush, it's a spherical bearing.

It should rotate about it's own axis, but there should be no in/out play.

I keep replacement bearings in stock.

Well it's the in out play that's causing the noises.
