Back in 1996 imports like these had a bit of a bad press and it was hard to insure because no one had an MR2 Turbo on their database.

Wanted to get one in original condition before they all got modded or driven to death, so in 2012 I found this car for

bit tatty here and there and gearbox crunched going down the box into 3rd gear, but it was a good base to improve on.

Loads of parts were replaced in the rebuild including cambelt, water pump, various seals

There were a few delays towards the end of the build mainly due to the ECU i bought off here was found to be faulty and the guy I bought it off went very quiet on me so had to source another one.

So after 7 months without my car I finally went back up to Peters to get it back.

I had also had the standard engine and Frunk braces chromed, so fitted them.
