I thought it only civil to keep my non-twobrutal brethren informed of the latest progress; behold!... the worlds first black and white, Eurosport-kitted, mk1.5 3SGTE turbo!
Still waiting on my custom Compomotive rear wheels to arrive, they were supposed to be here this week
Not quite done, but getting very, very close....

Re: Two-tone mk1.5 turbo ;-)
My dad and I spent all of today refitting trim and interior bits. We managed to get all of the exterior trim bits re-fastened, along with the passenger door locks and mirror, radiator plastic cover, various edging and just about all of the interior (both leather seats, drivers door card, sill strips, fitted the boost gauge etc..). All the plastic exterior trim has been re-done in satin black; the only bits left to do are the strips along the side of the T-bar panels, and the plastic edging around the rear quarter lights; they should be just an easy spray can job.
Still no quite done; tomorrow I need to try and figure out what is wrong with the passenger window - it doesn't work We'll also bolt up the boot and engine lids and refit the rest of the interior - after adjusting the gear lever slightly; it's a little too far forward and to the left with this mk2 turbo box.
Here's a better pic of the progress made today:

it looks very good John. Get some pics of the interior and all around the car. Then come down to Bedfordshire and we'll go for a spin.
Re: Two-tone mk1.5 turbo ;-)
I am liking the two tone thing.. Reckon you should have kept the Initial D look and done the arches etc in black, that looked cool
One of the 300ZX guys did his Z two tone - oddly enough, very similar colours to the Mk2 silver shadow dooberry (silver & black) and that looked surprisingly good too.
Anyway.. wildly off topic there, so.. nice Mk1.5
