Making of a Mk1.6 (slowly)

I saw the videos of the start-up etc on YouTube some time back. My first thoughts were "F me that's loud!" followed by "I hope the neighbours are understanding, or deaf!"

Not at all. I had great fun driving her round the block to hitch up to the car transporter, got a few cutains twitching. Really should have stuck the video camera on the roof.

Mixed bag with the neighbours some love her rumble others I get scowls from.

The people carrier brigade would not approve then. Possibly due to it reminding them of a time before they sold their motoring soul to the 7 seater devil

I don't think any of my neighbours have or have ever had a motoring soul.

You can tell by the quality of parking on the street.
