Okay sorted. Due to a bit of organising I'm working in Kent on Friday, staying at my mum's in London on Friday night, so will drive round the M25 and pop into the meet on my way back.
No AE86 unfortunately as the engine is dead. So will be in the Yaris.
It took some organising but I've managed to work it all out.
No worries.
A huge thanks to Chay et al. for organising it. Had a top day, though it got a bit too hot for Indy, but other that was great to see friends, old and new. Miguel's old car must be the standard for how to do an AE86. Also just fab to see the first AE86 that I ever drove completing it's transformation into what it is. If you haven't already guessed it is Ian G's F20C AE86. The sound it made! Really sorry I didn't catch you Tony, before I went. Lovely to see Mark, Jez and everyone else.
Top stuff! Happy Eight-Six day!
I'll sort my pics out tomorrow.
Thank you to the organisers. It was a great meet, could not of asked for better weather.
It was really good to see so many mr2's attend. At one point there were more mk1's than 86's
For me this was my favourite car on the day.
I'm glad I made the effort to go to the 86 day celebrations at the Ace Cafe yesterday, it was a cracking turn out. Gutted I didn't get my car there. Miguel's old car was there with it's new owner. What a car it is!
More cars on ITB's:
This car was white last year and was bought by a woman who quite liked Cadbury's purple! Looks good I think!
Chay's Garage Shapple N2 car is now all one colour, well mostly. He sprayed it at home. I asked him if was going to flat it down. He commented 'yeah I was thinking about it but, then I just couldn't be ar$ed, it's for driving isn't it?' LOL!
Tony's homebrew turbo 4AGE:
Now this car, I actually drove back at a Driftworks day at Silverstone in 2005. It's changed a fair bit since then and is finally back on the road! Now fully seam welded and with an F20C mapped and throttle bodies! It sounded amazing!
Look at the size of those primaries!
Plenty of MR2's were there in attendance too!
Indy Paws!
Overall it was hot, but a fab day and so good to catch up with old friends and new!
Yeah LeSpank/Fossman's Panda is very nice.
Thanks for the pics - another year gone, and mine is still in bits, rather than out in the summer sun!
Almost got around to giving in and sending it to a bodyshop!
