Ive seen the car in person and Johnny maintains it to a v high standard. :thumleft:

Agreed. I've seen this car in my workshop several times over the years for the more tricky jobs, and it's one of the best original cars i've seen.

GLWS John, and you're car is a fab example :thumleft:

BTW, no idea what MW is. :?

MW3 is nothing like those games you play on that Amstrad CPC-464 of yours!

Games on the Amstrad CPC-464 were better though, and no one ever rage-quit while playing

Just been looking on Autotrader, there's only 3 other UK Sonic Shadows.
A 1997 rev4 at £2,895, a 2000 rev5 at £2,950 and a 1998 rev5 at £5,295

Hmmm :-k

Just an update, the mileage is almost 120,000 now.

Good news is that the car is no longer doing interstellar miles, due to me being jobless #-o
So I won't be looking for a replacement uber economical car, but will keep this for sale as I'll be walking the 5 miles to the jobcentre 8)

Fear not - the car will stay 'in the club' at least, and I'm sure I'll be researching and posting on here a little more soon.

Johnny appears to have done an excellent job looking after his car so I couldn't miss out on it!

Simon.

Forgot to update this.
Car is now sold to Simon above.
Hope it's as good to him as it has been for me, bought it expecting to keep it for 2-3 years (same as previous cars), ended up with it for 9 years as it's been a peach.

Not sure what to replace it with. Was originally going to be a Honda Civic or mk2 BMW Mini but they're now out of budget without a job. But at least I don't need something uber economical.
Thinking maybe mk1 BMW Mini, but reliability scares me.
Have always liked the mk1 Yaris, and Peter at Sbits mentioned the T-Sport I hadn't thought of that model, although for some reason they're still really expensive :-k
