you'll need to cut the pipe coming off the thermostat housing at a 35-40 deg angle and spin it around so it faces down along the engine.
i cant remember what pipe i used to run from there down under the car tho.
it is touching the silencer on mine but where it is i wraped the pipe in armorflex insulation tape and its not melted and is ok to touch after a blast.

ill try and take some better pics in the next day or so.
this is the best ive got for now.

That's quite close to that rubber hose eh?

Would this cause a problem for a track car that'd get constant abuse?

In round figures its about £250 for the fittings and hose depending on size and filters etc.

heres some pics i took tonite

this is the bit that needs cutting and spining
Image
this is where it touches the silencer. looks like i used the bit of insulation already on the pipe. but if you need some this should be better than what im using. http://www.pipelagging.com/armaflex-sol ... 55_63.html
Image
i think its a stock pipe i used but not sure if its the one from there origonaly you may need to get a 1m length of silicone hose instead

where it joins onto the pipe from under the car
Image

Image

not easy to see but its from underneath

Image

through the side vent.
