All,

seen as i cant find a 2nd hand mongoose anywhere im thinking of stumping up and buying new - got a rev5 that exhaust is blowing but cant make mind up on which tail to go for

as it stands

also seen plenty of pics of slash cut but not rolled - if you have one can you post it up

I got my slash cut Mongoose just before they offered rolled tips :cry:

The only other exhaust that offered rolled tips at the time was the Blueflame, but those pipes sticking out at angles just looked stupid IMO.

exactly johnny - ive had blueflames on my gt4 and cupra R but dont like angled tips

im swayed towards rolled but dont see any around

Just look abit more finished off for me

But i've just had my rev5 exhaust welded up on the leaky flanges (no adult remarks please :lol:)

it booked in for that on Saturday - but tempted to just get new exhuast and give them to fit it instead

Rolled tips all the way - I'm having a similar dilemma to yourself currently. I really like the more subtle look. :)

They make it a bit quieter too unless your on full chat, which imo is how any street exhaust should sound.

Yes they are. I'm still considering either one of these or a blueflame. I've heard they sound better, but the tips are angled out and they look a bit naff IMO.

i had a 200cel blueflame cat on my old CUpra R and it never passed emissions it was a nightmare.

Can get a new OE cat for approx 130 on exchange

erm, google mr2 cat - cant remember where i saw it for 130 - might of been mr2 bits
