ive never driven a n/a so cant really compare the 2 but driving my turbo today there deffently not sluggish off boost.

also i knoticed a few people commenting on people who drive in 5th at 30 ahouldnt be driving anyway? i spend most of my time in fifth as theres no need to change down.

my tubby pulls fine fromabout 20 mph in fifth on the flat aand will pull up most hills at 30mph.

someone also put that a n\a would pull up hills better but people seem to be missing the point here.

my rev 2 turbo starts spoiling up at around 2k so your not really off boost if you need to get up a steep hill and id imagine a n/a would have to change down a couple of pegs to get up there anyway.

the turbo is such a flexible engine its untrue.

if youve driven other turbod cars of the same age then youll notice the power delivery is no way near as smooth or linear.

ive driven a fiat coupe turbo

(16v) and although a quick car has a serious lack of guts lower down in the rev range.

ive also driven a couple of brand new scoobys and the sti model takes alot more winding up to get it to start pulling compared to the wrx or mr2.

just my opinion ofcourse.

alex.
