[Mk2] [Generic] Fitting Nissan S14 200SX alloys?

Post by Peter C »

The wheels are 5x114 PCD, 16" and look similar to stock Rev 2/3/4 SW20 wheels.

Has anyone seen these fitted to an MR2?

That's fairly close to MR2 dims, isn't it?

I assume I would need 20mm spacers on the rear?

You wouldn't need spacers. Stock MK2 Offset is +45.

Bore size of wheels is oversize though, so you'd need spigot rings to reduce to 60.1.

6.5" all round
considered fitting them once upon a time but not wide enough for the rear

Wouldn't a 225 section tyre fit on a 6.5" rim?

it would be a stretch, most tyre manufacturers recommend 7" - 8.5" for a 225/45/16 with 7.5" being optimum
