Steering Wheel Compatibility

Post by Nic »

I'm looking for a 3 spoke airbag steering wheel to fit a 95 GT Turbo, can anyone tell me what other Toyota cars have compatible steering wheels that would fit?

IS300, some Corollas. Seems to be a popular swap for the yanks.

I tried from 7gen Celica.
It fits, but you need to think how to connect a horn...

Celica and MK3 MR2 are confirmed fitment, although you will need to buy a connector adaptor for the airbag to work (costs less than ~£10). The horn uses a slightly different connector, but easy enough to modify.

I'm also fairly certain (although can't confirm) that steering wheels from the Lexus IS, Yaris and Corolla also fit. There's plenty on fleaBay from a variety of Toyota models...

Rossco, What needs to be done with the horn to work? I have a mk3 wheel to go on my mk2 tomorrow.

Cheers, Michael.
