Scott 94 Rev 3 Turbo Caribbean Blue

Post by Scott L »

Hi, I've been on the site a few times before but never introduced myself (Well my car).

I am a proud owner of an MR2 turbo GT T-BAR in Caribbean Blue which I purchased back in October 2011 after looking around for a few years trying to find the perfect one and for the right amount.

I got the car from Lezz who some of you might know as he told me he went to a lot of meets. (Great Guy) It has had a few bits done to it being;

Blitz Nur Spec R Exhaust
Assuie Downpipe
Arc Induction
HKS SSQV BOV
Pace Charge Cooler
GReddy Electronic Boost Controller Spec B

Its sits on 17" Staggered Lenso 5 spoke Matt Black Wheels with a new set of Toyo's on.

Rev 5 Spoiler
Chrome Twin Fans under engine cover.

I have wanted one of these for so long and to be driving one as clean as this puts a smile on my face everytime I hear it start up :D

I've tried to put some pics up but can't seem to atm but I have some on my profile.

I hope to go to a few meets around Kent if there are some around.

Thanks for looking

It is indeed... You must be the one that a few of my mates have seen and thought it was me lol!

Also just to add another piece of information my car featured in Japanese Performance Magazine Issue 131 (Dec 2011) Comparing MR2's against a Nissan 200SX and the MR2 came out on top \:D/

Seen car in your profile mate, lovely!

Do you have a decat fitted, and a bung in Nur spec or not? If no bung fitted, do you reckon it's well loud?

Cheers

Thanks!

Not to sure if it is Decatted but I dnt have the bung in there, looks a bit strange with it in. It is loud and there are days when I feel that it needs to come off but the days that I love the sound that it makes when it's driven "enthusiastically" outweighs the bad.

Exactly the way I feel about mine!

I have the bung in at the moment, but may take it out

I think it's loud with the bung in!

Without the bung is the way forward. Though I have to practially crawl down my road in it without waking the neighbours up or setting car alarms of

Yeah think it's comin' out

Know what you mean about the crawling down the road scenario and cringing when starting it up
