New member intro

Post by VGB »

Hello, as per the title i am a new member so thought i should do a quick intro, more on my car than myself i guess. I have a 95 m reg g limited t bar import. It has a full autopista body kit and spoiler. It has done 103km. It's sitting on 17's and at some point has had a respray. I think it's a good looking car and like the body kit. The thing is the ride is rather hard which i don't know if it's just from the 17's (low profile tyres) or if suspension has been lowered too. I'm considering spending some money on my mr2 get the clear indicators new steering wheel see what can be done about the ride quality. But the mot is due very soon to. Not sure if i should spend the money or go for a trd kitted mr2 as i really like the wide look. As i understand the autopista kit is quite rare? The other odd thing is that the car is registered as 95 but seems to be a rev 2 with the tail lights. Could it be that it is a rev 2 that was just registered late in 95? Any help or pointers would be appreciated. Cheers verdun :-)

Hi,

Welcome to the site, running 17" wheels with lower profile tyres will make the driving experience a lot harder (more uncomfortable). The car could have been imported in 95 or even could be a '95 and someone has opted for rev2 lights, to be sure can you post some pics, welcome to the site Btw. :thumleft:

I'm having to access the site through my phone as computer is Knackered. Not sure if i can add photos Via my phone or not? I'm not a huge fan of the wheels i've got on at the mo so may change them. If i do i could go for 16's but am concerned they will look small on the car? I've taken the dash surround out today, going to spray it white lighten up the interior and freshen it up a bit. Not done anything to the car since i've had her and had her since october. Think if start doing bits more likely to just stick with her for the time being. She needs a bit of tlc. Got a maze of wires where someone has put sound system in which seems like half of it isn't working. I hate electics so trying to avoid touching it but with dash trim out now would be good time to have spring clean. :-S

Believe it or not but I've finally sorted out how to add pics so better late than never but here are a couple of pics of my Mister. It does now have jap spec front no. plates and a new set of staggered 16" wheels although not fitted at the mo.

Welcome to IMOC dude :D

Nice car, looks good, but lose that massive rear fog! Look loads better re-located into the rear lights :thumleft:
