At a minimum make sure your brakes are up to scratch and your car is well serviced.

Then put aside a few hundred quid for inevitable breakdowns.

Then theres brake upgrades, bucket seat and harnesses, bilsteins, uprated spings or coilovers, ARBs, tyres, 15 or 16 inch wheels if not already fitted.
