As you say I do miss the standard sleeper effect i.e.

effortless
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
(and noiseless) performance on tap.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
It went a lot faster than it sounded and now it sounds a lot faster than it goes
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
(even though it does feel faster) if that makes sense

I don't think it's the mongoose exhaust making all the noise, personally I think the exhaust does look gorgeous it looks like the stock exhaust should have looked, I think it's more the downpipe and induction kit making the majority of the sound

(though obviously the exhaust does make it's own sound).

The exhaust is louder at idle than it is in use strangely enough, it has more of a deep burble than a loud boom with some exhausts.

On the note of the induction kit
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
- it sounds amazing at speed, makes a lovely sucking sounds when the turbo is spooling up, around town with the odd throttle blip it doesn't make as much noise, either that or it is drowned out by the noise of the downpipe and exhaust don't get me wrong it's not as loud as some other peoples exhausts

(even with the downpipe), it's just a little too loud for my liking.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
Ah well will probably need to get used to it.
