Post by sibster »

Took the wife to getr her bloody pug sorted again. dam 307's buut on the way i decided to give the car a boot, and when i got to 70 the front end went blinking light as in very light lol. I then settled at 70 and it still felt very light is this common with the mr2, its tehe first time i could put my foot down as my mate crashed it within a week of me having it.

Check your tyre pressures and all suspension components ....then get your geometry checked. Rev 1s are very sensitive to changes. How was it crashed and how was it fixed?

R.

By the way if he crashed your car he's not your mate he's an ar$e.

will get geometry checked again lol was done just before the accident.

He slid it out on a around about and the back end went into the barrier. Only damage was to the rear bumber and rear wing. we hammered the dents out, and fitted a new bumper. there was no damage the the rear wheel arch and didnt seem to know the suspension.

Yeah he is a ar$e, but still a mate, ive known him most of my army career (14 years now) looked out for each other a lot on tours if you get my drift.

It was a accident.

Fair do's. I'll replace ar$e with bad driver.
I may be teaching you to suck eggs but have a good check over tyres, pressures and all the suspension/steering components before the expense of geo again.
