Proper Introductions

Post by kendoskeg »

Ive been lingering around the forum for a while now so thought it time to introduce myself and my MR2.

I spent a couple of months looking for a decent example near to me, I didn't want to drive far to look at one only to be disappointed. I saw a few in a really sorry state, shame really.

Then I found mine:

Which as Ive just found out I need to post more before I add URLs, so Ill add pictures later.

Its a 94 Rev2/3 Manual N/A, 2ltr.

Roughly 150k on the clock but still runs beautifully, needs a bit of a tidy up here and there but generally Im incredibly happy with it considering I paid very little for it.

5 owners, loads and loads of receipts and history.

Jobs done so far - full coolant flush and fill with 4life, replaced faulty headlight motors, and a full service which found no faults whatsoever.

Ill be getting a new exhaust at the end of the month as the one on this is on its last legs, then Ill sort the aerial, and after that general tinkering.

Ive been pretty overwhelmed by the amazing mods some of you guys have done to your own MR2s, so Ill be deciding which route to take in the next few months, although I do prefer the subtle/sleeper look.

I come from several years of owning various MGs so this is totally new to me, but Im loving every minute Im spending in the car so far.

Thanks for looking!
