electrical problems

Post by Damian »

Hello.

Driving home this evening I noticed that when I had my lights on my dash board was flickering ever so slightly. Added to this when I got out to check my head and tail lights were doing the same thing. It's only faint but it's still noticeable.

This follows on from this morning when, as I was driving along at about 30mph my dashboard lights flicked on, like the ones that come on when you stall, and the engine revs dropped very quickly. The car didn't stall though and then returned to normal after a second.

Any ideas?

Cheers. [/code]

Seems to be a bad connection affecting a wide range of circuits Damian

If it was me I'd remove the connectors from the battery poles

Clean the poles & inside of the connectors & make sure of a tight fit on re-assembly

See if that changes anything
