Help connecting up a Maplin aerial

Post by m4rcus »

Hi,

I've seen the post http://www.imoc.co.uk/forums/viewtopic. ... ght=maplin but not sure which wires to connect to. As this is an after market aerial it only has three wires... so can someone help as I need to get it sorted by tomorrow lunchtime (Sat)

Cheers,

Connect the red to permanent live, the black to earth and the other one to the blue coming from your head unit

That's a little help, but I'm asking which of the wires to use at the aerial end. They are as follows…

White/Black
Pink/Blue
Green/Black
Black/Yellow
Silver
Red

So back over to you guys, I've got the earth sussed, but not the other two :)

I think you want to connect to the pink/blue wire just make sure before you do anything that your radio and your fuse box has the correct fuse and you wont blow anything.
