[Mk2] [Generic] More bloody woes

Post by korean »

My MR2 has decided that this years money pit job is that the brakes will seize up, which has been maily sorted, but now the radiator has sprung a leak.
I say rad, its boiled up twice now, and this afternoon after filling it up then running it and parking outside the house. a puddle appeared from the front of the car, so its either the rad or the hoses, and seeing as hoses are relatively cheap, its bound to be the radiator

So my next post is likely to be in the wanted section once more,

My love of this car is truely being tested.

filled it up today and took the plactic cover off under the bonnet to get access to the rad.

Its leaking at the bottom of the rad.

So new rad required.

My radiator died last week and I got a new one for around £100 from these guys: http://www.fastrads.co.uk/

Brand new radiator, nicely made and has been working perfectly for the past week!
