As some of you have reported there were problems accessing sections of the forum this morning and yesterday evening, eventually culminating in the site giving up with the error "Critical Error: Cannot connect to database".
The root drive on the server was full(again). I've fixed the problem now and am taking steps to ensure this doesn't happen again with threshold warnings, automatic log file compression and the like.
