No, different part of the series, but they will play similarly as Frostbite 2 is the updated version of the game engine used for BC2!

Cool, thats good for the MP in the game but I really like the dudes in BC in single player

Just got hold of BFBC2 as I never got round to playing it before......it rocks!! Single player campain was really good but the multiplayer is outstanding!
BF3 is gona be amazing.
