You also end up trapping the moisture, which does the metal itself no favours. Unless you're going turbo and creating much higher temperature exhaust gases, it's better left unwrapped.
Re: Best value manifold: Che?
My manifold arrived from Toyosports shop on ebay, seems good for the money but slightly concerned that the 4 pipe entrances don't appear in line, the middle 2 are lower, and the pipe entrance on the far left and the far right don't look to me to be at the same height. Is this the same on other people's ones?

Re: Best value manifold: Che?
TBH I didn't even look, just handed it to Rogue...and since they have two others on their shelves I'm assuming that the one I got was OK (from Toyosports, is that where yours was from?)
Re: Best value manifold: Che?
Yep from Toyosports, but it was being sold by auction so wasn't sure if there was something wrong with it, probably me just worrying for no reason. Has your one been fitted ok?
Re: Best value manifold: Che?
Going on Wednesday. As I say though, Rogue have them on the shelf and have done a few, so I don't anticipate a problem.

WHOA. Really? They're £1300!?!?!?! I thought they were about £150.

Re: Best value manifold: Che?
They are £130, but every so often the daft garage seems to enter them at £1300. Give it a week or two and they'll relist them at the correct price.
Personally I reckon they do it on purpose because they get the odd sale out of it! But don't pay more than £150 tops including postage!!!
(You could ring Rogue, they might have one in stock)

I suspect I'll be ringing Rogue shortly anyway. I'm missing mid engined in my life.
Re: Best value manifold: Che?
