How it looked when we bought it

- It's much the same now but dirtier and with loads of trim in the boot/passenger seat

(Wheels not included

- they've already gone elsewhere)

Got a complete white SC manual T-Bar sitting in my lockup taking up space and I could do with getting rid of it.

The car was bought a couple of years ago with the intention of tidying it up for the wife to use as her daily but that never really happened and it's been garaged pretty much since we've had it.

It'll need work if it's going to go back on the road, or it's a good value source of parts.

Would prefer to sell complete but will consider breaking it myself if I get solid offers on enough parts to make it worth my while.

Due to the way we acquired the car I've barely driven it

(I've run it the mile or so to the lockup and back once or twice but that's about it) so can't give too much information on the mechanical condition.

The Good:
Suspension is Konis and fully poly bushed plus the rear has brand new Twosrus adjustable trackrods on it

(they're so new the tracking hasn't even been done since I fitted them)
I believe it has an oversize crank pulley but I've not checked.

It has a stainless exhaust of some kind

(can't remember what, think it was a custom one though)
Pretty sure there's some sort of aftermarket panel filter on there too.

Mechanically it should pass an MOT

(we put in in for a test a while ago to see what it needed and I fixed all the mechanical stuff, I just never got around to the bodywork)
The engine should be ok.

It was sold to us as having HGF although on further inspection I found that the filler cap wasn't sealing properly and there was a pinhole in one of the metal coolant pipes under the inlet manifold.

Both of these faults were rectified and the engine appears to run fine with no sign of overheating or other HGF-like symptoms.

Comes with an extra full set of bronze tint glass including a brand new Toyota packaged windscreen.

Has Grey/black mk1a seats

(much nicer looking than the mk1b ones)
Currently has a mk1a steering wheel fitted but I've got a fair selection in the garage including the original if you want it.

It's got lots of colour coded trim on it

(if you like that sort of thing)

The bad:
It's got lots of colour coded trim on it

(if you

*don't* like that sort of thing)
The body needs work, some welding will be needed to the drivers side sill and radiator crossmember will be needed to pass an MOT

(the front end has already been stripped down in preparation for this).

All arches and the roof at the top of the windscreen and around the tbars will need attention if you want it to look nice.

It's had a front end impact at some point

(probably in Japan), it's not entirely straight and as a result there are numerous

'unusual' spots in the frunk where the paint is cracked and surface rust is visible.

Tbars leak pretty badly

(headlining and drivers side carpet were removed to mitigate against this plus the car has been garaged for the last couple of years).

The synchro on second is knackered as it crunches if you drive it normally, you can avoid it with careful shifting but tbh the box could do with rebuilding.

The windscreen on the car is cracked

(but as i've said a new screen is included)

The ugly:

Vix likes it, I reckon it looks horrible

£1000 and it's yours.
