Well, I have finally tried starting her up today.......
Had a few issues, mainly to do with a) Not fitting the earth wires properly and b) Fitting the incorrect starter motor. Managed to solve all of those and the engine is turning over well.
Trouble was it wouldn't start
Checked the plugs and have got a good, strong spark but noticed the plugs were dry.....
Put in 5 litres of fuel just in case but still no joy
So, I started from the beginning at the source - the pump. Stripped out the plastics to expose the connector inside the car and tested the wires. This is how I found there was no power getting to the wires to the pump.
Bit of background for those that don't know - it is a Rev 2 G-Limited with a Rev 2 turbo conversion....
Any ideas guys?

Spot on the fuel pump relay won't be getting power.blue wire black line iirc.
Try feeding power directly to pump.under ashtray,White with black line is earth blue is power. Then see if it starts.

Tried to call you today Luke
OK, got to the bottom of it. Tested all the circuits, including bridging the B= and FP terminals in the diagnostic port....
Getting the right voltages across the system - only thing it can be is the new Walbro pump is duff
Could it be any more awkward?
