Guys, if you look at the photo which Damian posted on Sat, does the crank pulley look 'normal'? What I mean is, does the gap between the waterpump/alternator drive section and the (unused) a/c drive section look normal?

How many ribs are there on an a/c drivebelt?
(e.g. There's five on the waterpump/alternator belt.)

Would anyone be able to post a photo of the same type of crank pulley for comparison? (BIGBOBO?)

Thanks guys.

(Damian's brother.)

Not sure what you mean John. I can post pics any pulley you like if you wish, except the AC cause I don't have it on my engine.

Thanks BIGBOBO. I just want to see the complete crank pulley in profile if possible, to compare the gap between the two ribbed drive sections to the gap visible in the photo Damian took.

If you're able to post a photo taken from roughly the same angle that Damian did that would be much appreciated. (His photo was posted above in this thread: Sat May 07, 2011 8:39 pm)

Or if you have a crank pulley not fitted to an engine, a photo of that from the side would be fine too.

Thanks.

I'll see what I can do. It can take a day or two to find some time to get to my garage though :s. (10 min bike ride from home)

Hi guys.

Took the pulley off today and even though it didn't look too bad from below it was obviously knackered once off the car.

Put the new one on, thanks to Gary for sorting me out with one, and I now have a nice new gap between the sump again! The car is running nicely again.

Thanks chaps.
