Have a noisy clutch, but when the pedal is fully depressed it's quiet.

Release bearing? If so, don't worry.

thanks peter.
i actually did do a search before posting knowing this was a common thing, but some are saying its a gearbox issue.
i'll take it to a mechanic.

It's the release bearing mate.

and ehm.. to get the whole tranny out just for that..
then I declare u crazy :P
