Howdy chaps!
Just wanted to let guys on here know that there is a Retro Toyota Gathering happening at the ACE Cafe on the 23rd April. Its a bank holiday weekend so what better way to spend a day rolling down to the ace and shooting the xxxx with other like minded toyota / rusty car enthusiasts. So if your rolling an old Toyota (pre 1990) like an AW11 or other and want to come along and join in your more than welcome.
To try and establish potential numbers, if your thinking about attending bang you name up in the thread!
Look forward to seeing you there.

I know James and Chay have worked really hard on this. There is going to be a great turn out from the AE86's (including mine making it's debut), so it would be fab to see some MK1's there.

James, you might need some red carpet, Toni reckons she's coming.
I've told her to bring Stripey, but erm, I'm not putting money on it!

Zoikes!
How long has it been Toni? 10 years in the making, come on pull you finger out! If you make it you get a free Beer!
For all those media whores out there the meet will also be featured in a magazine so you might get your car / face in print.
There is going to be a really good turn out for the day based on the interest we have had on other forums, so come along people. Would be awesome to have a regular day held at the Ace.

LOL I am not sure it is likely, but still you never know!
I'm planning to come anyway, Ace is only about 40 mins from my house!

After speaking with Lauren at the weekend, i will try and make it down to this in my mk1!
It will still only have its running in map on it, but will be good to get some more mileage on it!

Cool beans, bring a car to park up outside the Ace as well - I am sure you have a suitable vehicle in your vast collection of yellow cars!

Neil's car really is a work of art, would be fab to see that at the meet. I think it's fair to say he's worked his nuts off getting this car to where it is now with 400 odd bhp in a MK1!

I'd like to come along, but if I do I'll be parking outside... earliest Toyota I can lay my hands on is a '92

That's very kind of you! It'll be a '94 in that case, I'd remembered the age of my mates Supra incorrectly and it's actually the same age as my car.
