ive recently bought my third mr2.
its a nice grey/blue 95 auto na
it has what looks like a toad alarm fob, but the central locking doesnt work, and neither does the fob.
relpaced the battery in the fob, but i have to use the immobiliser key inside the car to get it started as there is no central locking.
can anyone help with this issue?

also, there is no rear lock for boot. i think it fell through, and a cover disc has been put on

I have issues with CL and have a toad alarm, if you ave a search in the elec section there's my post and another about similar issues. All the auto elec places I've spoken too said best bet is to rip out old toad alarm and go from there by either getting it back to stock or fitting a new alarm, just saving up to have mine done...

hi guys I have a rev 3 turbo with a toad alarm and its no problem they when they fitted the alarm they should of put some resistors in the cdl wiring here are the notes off the tech sheet for central door locking
CDL Notes IMPORT MODELS - UNLOCK WIRE NEEDS DIVIDING BY 2 DIODES. 1
DIODE TO UNLOCK. 1 DIODE TO BLUE/YELLOW OR RED/YELLOW ON CDL RELAY.
could be the answer to your issues mine was locking and unocking its self or just wouldn't unlock on the remote
