Awesome Fest, Mallory Park

Post by ppre89 »

Not sure if you guys know about this or not, awesome fest 29th-31st of July
events:
BMX
MotoX
Skate Boarding
Drifting
DJ's and live Bands
Graph Painting comps
loads going on should be an action packed weekend
Driftworks Organised should be a good weekend.

We have a convo up to Mallory Park where it is being held from lakeside, we have just over 100 people in for it so far so should be a good run. We do insist this is a CONVO and not a race, stick to speed limits etc etc we all wanna get there at the end of the day.

So yeah take a look on DW for the event and follow the link below for the convo if your local

Convo: http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=195735810438264

DW Thread on whats going on etc : http://www.driftworks.com/forum/drif...somefest-2011/

Awesome fest website:
http://www.awesomefest.co.uk/

So lemme know what you think guys, and join up on FB if you fancy the convoy or PM me on here if your not on Facebook

See ya soon!!

You have to park in the paddock, and pitch your tent the other side of the track, also you're only allowed 4 cans of beer in

i just looked on the website and this is what you can take

"Quantity per person:
Please note: All drinks must be in unopened containers. You may enter AwesomeFest with the following:

12 cans of beer OR cider.
OR
Plastic bottles of beer OR cider total volume up to 5litres.
OR
Box of wine (no glass bottles) up to 3litres in volume."

So its not too bad.

I dont think you've met Stevie

On a serious note, food/drink/alcohol are going to be reasonaly priced at the venue. This will NOT be your typical rip-off car event.

I doubt he has, that would last me about an hour.

There's reasonably priced, and then theres tesco beer deals where you can get 30 cans of Stella for £20, will it cost that for 30 pints? :-k

I won't be going anyway dude, I'm off up to Scotland that weekend, but I reckon for that weekend would be well over £250 for me and the missus, when you look at tickets, fuel and beer.
