I bought this car 3 years ago as a track car toy.
I paid beyond my initial budget for this particular example because it was in exceptional condition for its age and had clearly been looked after. I have upgraded the suspension and the brakes beyond the standard spec; plus have recently stripped out much of the interior, front bonnet and boot trim to save weight.
As a result, this car handles superbly on track and can keep up with much more exotic machinery.
The brakes are progressive, the chassis is very well balanced and predictable and with the air filter and stainless exhaust it sounds superb. The engine, gearbox, clutch and pretty much all mechanical aspects of the car are all top notch, in superb condition.
The bodywork is still in exceptional condition. Not just exceptional for the age of vehicle, but even for a car half its age. I am now selling up due to a new MR2 I could not pass up.
I have removed the aftermarket alloys and buckets seats I had installed because I want those for my new car.
I have refitted the OEM 15inch Rev3 wheels and the leather seats of the GT interior (seats are in very very good condition). I haven't refitted the interior carpets, trim, etc just yet in case someone else wants to use this car as a track car, but I do have all interior components in a big box in the garage. I can refit the interior if a genuine buyer wants me to. In the last 3000 miles, this car has had:
